Stress and rapid aging go hand-in-hand. All you have to do is look at your boss, who worked his way up the corporate ladder, to know what stress can do to a person. It’s no surprise, almost all bosses are bald with giant bags under their eyes. They mine as well tape a permanent cup of coffee to their hands.
Now, imagine the load the President of the United States carries while in office. You’ll be amazed how much former Presidents aged during their terms.
Bonus at the end: What Will Donald Trump Look Like?
1. Gerald Ford
President Ford took an interesting path to become President. It was almost like all the cards were dealt in his favor. First, Nixon’s Vice President resigned, and Ford took over. Then, once Nixon dropped out, Ford became the new President. After stepping in for Nixon, the citizens did not vote him in for another term.
2. Dwight D. Eisenhower
Not many people can make the same exact face years later for a photo. It’s eerie the way his lip curls in the same spot for both photos. Eisenhower was in office during the Korean War and the Cold War with Russia.
3. Lyndon B. Johnson
In the first photo, Johnson looks sort of like a deer in the headlights. In the second photo, he looked like a mafia hitman who constantly has a newspaper under one of his arms. He was the man who was sworn in after the tragic assassination of JFK.
